Kidderminster - Cultural Capital of Europe
Kidderminster - My Home Town.

Has been visited by many famous people over the years.

Henry VIII lived in the town for 8 years, founding the Parkers Arms pub in Park Street,

He also used to have a dip in Castle Street baths, before having a game of bingo at Shipleys - and a pickled egg and pint of Banks' in the Royal Exchange on the way home.

Battle of Bromsgrove
A marauding battle between Kiddy Harriers and Bromsgrove Rovers fans occurred in 1218 (just before lunchtime).

The opposing forces of Bromsgrove led by Napolean, and the Kiddy Harriers army led by the regulars of the Unity pub.

Bromsgrove were hammered, Napolean lost an arm - & Rovers were banished to the lower reaches of the Beazer Homes Premier !! - Napolean got banished to Elba apparently...
